what comparison would thier be to the tax treatment of purchasing land and building with that of renting land and building. refer to the amount and timing of the related tax deductions for tax purpose

the state i live in supports open carry,but for pistols only. i know you can open carry or conceal carry a shotgun or rifle on land that you OWN,but my question is,what about land you are renting from? the land i'm on i rent from an indivual,but can i still open carry shotguns or whatever on land that i rent from. like i say you can carry what you want on land you own,but what about land you rent?

Daddy was 92 at the time and didn't say anything to man then daddy put the land into my name and sister too. He told the next door friend that he was going to take it on squatters rights he has been there for I think 8 years. I raise the rent 350.00 a month and I want to sale. Now is there a Lawyer out there that can tell me who's house is this mine or his. The land is only worth 7,000 but it' worth 50.000 with the 445 sq footage. If he stays anther 10 years he will be paying 42.000 if i was him I would just pay me out. And he can't take on squatters because he don't pay the taxes.
How does one calculate a fair market price for renting land for sharecropping?
I own a few contiguous lots, with a house on one which I am about to rent to some people who are interested in growing marijuana on the vacant lot next to the house. They have all of the legal paperwork to legally grow it here in California. They want to utilize the entire lot, and have also asked me to mend one of the fences, I presume to keep dogs drug addicts out. My original intention was just to rent out the house, but now I'm wondering if I should be charging rent for the lot as well, and if I do, I'm wondering what would be a fair price. The lot is 50' x 100'. My next door neighbor grew 300 lbs. of grass last year in his back yard which is just less than 50' x 50'. Do I go by the area used for farming or a % of the revenue " reaped" from the crop?I'm not sure exactly what the Federal governments view of this is. My recollection is that they are just looking the other way for the time being, but who knows how long that will last. I don't know what the going rate for a lb. of grass is these days. I would think it would be at least $500.00, but it seems like just about everyone around here is growing the stuff.
