Do you have any general advice for someone looking to obtain her real estate sales license?
From 2002 to 2007, I attended a university where I earned a BA and MA. In 2004 during my undergraduate years, my significant other and I took Real Estate Principles, partially for fun and partially because we both had a mild interest at the time. Due to other academic plans, we both followed paths other than real estate.Now, several years later, I have a renewed interest. Part of it is because of some career changes I've made, some research I've done, plus the fact that we just bought our first house.Because I'm in Kentucky, I've been researching the criteria on the site for the Kentucky Real Estate Commission for obtaining a license. I would need to have completed six semester credit hours in real estate courses from an accredited college or university or 96 classroom hours in real estate courses from a Kentucky Approved Proprietary School.I already have 3 credit hours from an accredited college or university and I've even contacted the KREC to double check and make sure the course qualifies.At this point, I'm thinking of re enrolling and taking Real Estate Law next to complete my pre license education before taking my license exam. In the meantime, I've already been going back through the textbook from Real Estate Principles to review what I've forgotten since 2004.There's a little voice in my head telling me to go for it. I'm definitely willing to put forth effort and work hard.Any advice or tips? I'll take any advice, whether it's about the exam, working under a broker, getting sales, etc. Anything.
Is there a new law requiring real estate sales persons to be active for 4 years to get a broker's license?

How can I find out about foreclosure real estate sales in New Jersey?
I was told that the foreclosure sale freeze on real estate will be ending soon in New Jersey. Do you happen to know when the freeze will be lifted? I did a quick google search but I coul not find the end date. Also, I look at zillow.com and trulia.com, but I get confused about homes in foreclosure. I don't usually see a list base price for the properties subject to foreclosure, and it looks like you have to pay a fee based website foreclosure.com??? in order to get more information about the property. Do you know an efficient way for me to find out more about properties in the area that are subject to a foreclosure sale? Thank you for your help.
Who is responsible for paying for the title commitment on a real estate sale in New?
We are purchasing a residential property in New Mexico and have been asked to pay one half of the title commitment fee, not the title policy, on the sale. Is this common for New Mexico as it's not for Texas.

I'm in this weird place in my life where I can't afford to finish school because I don't make enough money. I have a ton of student loan debt from my first three years and a major change to make a dent in before I can even think of going back.I work as an administrative assistant where the pay in this area tops around $15 an hour. I need to make a change and make more money, cause I can't live paycheck to paycheck, or have two jobs, for who knows how long.I was always interested in a real estate sales career but never pursued it for obvious current events and economic reasons. Now I'm thinking maybe I don't have a choice but to start. Is it a bad idea? Or should I continue my schlep for awhile till I figure something else out?

I have been looking for a house in the Pittsburgh PA for the last couple months. Its my first house so I am taking my time to get a feel for the what I want and the whole process. In the last couple weeks the weather has gone from snowy to 60 degrees and sunny. I have noticed a lot more houses listed and a lot selling very fast 2 3 weeks after they are listed Will the market continue this way in the future or is it just a function of the weather warming up and people getting outside to look at houses?
