REO sale price - what does that mean? real estate foreclosures?
the situation If I see that an REO sale price to the bank is $150K .and the house is now listed for sale to the public for $190K.what does that mean exactly?Is the $150K the loan amount the foreclosed person had on the books?what are these numbers exactly. thanks.I'm interested in knowing more about the 150K sale back to the bank. Does this have anything to do with the former loan that was defaulted on? or what? thanks.

Real estate foreclosure in contingency, Is really true or is a bank trick?
I am trying to buy a foreclosure home, I make a cash offer to the bank for the asking price, the next day the bank put the house in contingency and do no accept my offer, one year later the house still in contingency and then back on Market, I made another cash offer for a little more that the asking price, Bank refuse my offer and put the house in contingency again, a few months later and the house still in contingency. Same history with another foreclosure houses that I try to buy. Why the banks do not want to sell the houses? Are banks afraid to declare the losses and be shut down by the FDIC? What is going on?
