Can a real estate broker and a lawyer start a real estate company together?
Help! The real estate company lied to the insurance company about the age of my home.?
When purchasing my home the real estate agency took care of all of the loan and insurance info. When I attempted to change insurance carriers I found that a lot of them won't insure my home because they say it was built in the late 1800's instead of the 1900's which was on my paperwork. And now the property is also in the mist of foreclosure. Help.
Is it possible to switch to a different real estate company?
My mom has a house rented out, it's already got people living in it. The problem is that the company or agent or whatever never sends us the rent money on time, for three years, forcing her to go to the office and get it herself each time even though she's filled out the forms that allow them to directly deposit the money into the bank. In fact they've made her refill out the forms to do that nearly half the time she goes there. They keep saying they'll deposit the money regularly at a certain date, but that date always passes and when she tells them that they change the date they say they'll deposit it and the next month that date will pass and it repeats like that. She's Korean and doesn't speak English very well, so she hates that she has to go there personally to talk to people she has trouble understanding for something that should've been simple and should've been solved multiple times over.She wants to switch to a small business real estate agency she had before switching to this one on a recommendation from a friend and I was wondering if that was possible and if not what should we do?
Old real estate company lied to my was going to be new one?
This is a question for anyone who knows the law in western Australia about this topic. A year and a half ago we moved out of a rental with Harcourts Joondalup there was a bond fight pretty much went back and forth for months, we ended up just giving in and agreeing with the amount they wanted and the remainder of the bond was paid into my account months and months ago. The apartment we are living in at the moment the owners have decided to sell but are being very nice about it. So we applied for a apartment and got a glowing reference from our current real estate agency as we should because we are great tenants never late in rent place perfect for every inspection. The apartment we applied for they called us and said the reference our current place gave us was fantastic they were very happy to give us the apartment then they called Harcourts Joondalup our previous and they said we owed them money and because of this we have given the place to someone else sorry. Now that is a complete lie I have know idea where it has come from, if it was just human error and the person at Harcourts has just given them the wrong info this has caused us to loose somewhere we would have got and we need somewhere to live as the owner want us out ASAP. Can Harcourts Joondalup be held responsible for anything. Cos I'm so peed off they they can do this, the whole time we were with them they were terrible and I wish there was something more I could do to make them pay for what they have done. I just got my real estate license. It is a new career for me and I need to be able to do well. I'm a quick learner with training. I don't just want to be thrown out on my own and left to swim with a lot of internal competition and yet I do want a company that is not going to dictate my every move. I have had my license for 6 months and I am currently with KW but their business model does not fit my needs. Also, the office is 30 minutes from my location and area I specialize in. I am doing some deals but feel like I need a change to push me over and get me to be the agent I would like to be. I am not looking for anyone to convince me that KW is the place to be. I have been with them and I understand what they are about and it just doesn't work for me.
