How is a real estate auction organized? Do I have to go to auctioneering school? If so, what's the best?
I've been offered work as a project mgr with a real estate auction company overseas and would like to prepare for this. I have no experience in the field and would like to " learn the ropes" , at least in theory. I won't be the auctioneer, but will work behind the scenes. All advice is appreciated. Thanks.
Why are there fewer real estate auctions?
A few years ago there were lots of real estate auctions, and lots of people attended each of them. But if you look at a list of upcoming auctions now, it's a much shorter list. What happened?
Can an real estate auction contract broken?
if the seller agent didn't disclose it to the owner bank of the house ?

How to do real estate auctions live and on-line?
I am trying to sell pre foreclosure and foreclosure properties through an auction, and need to know how to do this live, and how to do it on line. What I need to have in place in order to get this up and running.
Is it really possible to get a home from a seized real estate auction?
I heard about a real estate agent buying a $150k house for $1k. This can't possibly be true. My question is, is this even in the ballpark. I've also heard that auctions are dominated by dealers, so it's impossible to get one of those " dream deals" on a home. Are these auctions even worthwhile?
Other than real estate auctions, what ways can I find great prices of used Manufactured Homes?
I heard people are abandoning them in manufactured home parks, mobile home parks, etc. and I'm looking to purchase a 2nd one in 2010 for rental property.
Where can I find out about real estate auctions?
I'm interested in going to a real estate auction, but don't know how to find out where they are.
Anyone ever been to a real estate auction befroe? What's it like?
I never been to a home auction before so I don't know what to expect. Some houses I see that are listed on the site goes for 90k and some goes for about 170k, which is in my range however, I think this is just an advertising ploy and that once I really get to the auction, the price will QUICKLY jump to 300 % of it's asking price.Have any of you ever been to a foreclose home auction before? What's it like and do ANY houses ever sell at a reasonalble, I mean below current market value?
The state government posted a sign in my yard for real estate auction. Is there any way to stop this?
It is a tax forclosure due to unpaid property taxes.
I'm going to a real estate auction tomorrow, but it's my first and I don't know what I'm doing.?
There is this house going up for auction in 1 day.Can you set up an appointment view it ahead of time? Do they do a walkthrough at the auction so we can all see it's condition before we bid? Is there any chance of title problems? Are there any pitfalls other than there could be some hidden damages? Much much of the money do they expect at the auction? 10 %? Do you have to get pre approved for a loan for the full amount before you can bid?
Real Estate Auctions?
I have another question about a real estate auction. My parent's neighbors are going to be holding a real estate auction on 39 acres, seperated into 4 lots. My parents want to bid on one of these lots this land used to belong to our family and my mother is trying to get some back . The neighbors, knowing how much it means to my mother to be able to get part of the land, came to her and offered to sell her the lot that she wants 15 acres without having to bid on it but they had to check and see if they were allowed to do that first. My mother has been approved for a loan and now wants to ask the neighbors if they are still willing to sell the lot to her. However, my mother is wanting to know if it is usually legal to do that. In this situation, can the owners offer the 15 acres to my mother to buy outright, without having to bid at the auction? Also, if my mother does have to bid, she has to put 10 % down at the auction. If she wins, but then the bank won't give her the loan due to an appraisel or something of the sort, does she lose the 10 %?Another question, the auctioneer will not give my mother the reservce price. Does he legally not have to give it to her? Or does she have a right to know what it is?
Have You Attended A Real Estate Auction?
I am curious if anyone has attended a recent real estate auction in their area, and if you did what did you think of it? Did you bid and purchase a home in this fashion and how would you rate buying a home through an auction?
Ever bid on Real Estate @ auction & never won ?
I want to buy a house at the auction but im a little pessimistic coz of what i heard.. that you won't be able to buy it cheap coz if the highest bid is low, the bank seller might take it back or you'll get outbid anyway. Is it true ?
