Why do real estate agencies list square footage of homes when selling them?
If it is the buyers responsibility to make sure square footage is correct, why even list it?Since the realtor can advertise lies and not be held accountable, why list it? If a house is listed as 3000sq ft with 3bd and 3 baths and is really only 2500sq ft with 2bd and 2 baths why can the realtor lie. If the buyer must double check the listing, then why list anything but the price of the house?

Can a real estate agent get fired from the real estate agency for not making any sales or for showing poor performance? Or, can he keep his job no matter how many sales he makes?I thought that a real estate agent is sort of an entrepreneur, and that most people who leave is because they are unable to make a sale and not have a regular income. So they leave according to their own free will. That being said, does the real estate company fire them because they are unable to meet a quota? I have a question about my bill and my real estate agency/ Realtor and the legality of the situation?
I am renting a place, and when I moved in my roommate told me that it was up to us to keep the yard clean no problem . A few days ago the Realtor called me and said the same exact thing. When we moved in trimmed the bushes and cut the grass, a week or so later a guy shows up to and starts cutting the grass and weed eating and cleaning up the yard this goes on for the next three months,until now. But we then get a bill for the lawn care services, which we did not hire. And we were not told that the place was over grown and they would send someone and charge it to us. What i believe is happen is since the place was vacant they hired a person to clean up the yard while it was empty, and they just forgot to tell him to stop coming. So far i have not found anything in our lease that states we are responsible for covering the fee. So my question is, is this dbag trying to scam us for the bill or are we actually on the hook for this, he even verbally stated that it was our responsibility to take care of the yard, he didn't say you need to either pay or fire the dude who does it.
