Flood damage in council property?
We have just had flood sewage damage , in our property, damage to all floors,apart from the counciloffering reasnable costs for replacing damaged items, is there anything else that is reasonable to complain for.This is a council property.
How long do I have to keep someone else's property at my home?
I let a friend stay with me for 3 weeks free of charge. The last week she stayed with me she brought over her mattress and dresser and put it in my outside storage unit and said she would take it when she left. The day she left she said she would come back tomorrow to get it and I was ok with that. That day came and went and she never showed up. She called and said she would come the next day and then that day called and said she didn't have money for gas and would come the next day. It has been over a month. I have called her and left voice mails, facebooked her and nothing. I dont know where she lives. I really want this stuff out of my house. What can I do with it since its been over a month?It is a problem being in my home because it is interfering with my husbands army gear that should be in the outside closet. I do not know where she is living these days so i have no way to send her a letter to let her know to come get her things. I need to know something about residential property lines.?
I inherited a house from my parents. They lived there from 1948 to 2010. The house just east of it was just sold is being closed on. From the surveyor I have discovered my lot line goes two feet further east than the fence my Father put up 30 years ago. It even goes into the garage on that property that was there when my parents bought the house. so the garage on the east house is actually on my property The owners were friends of ours all this time, they and my parents are all dead. Now I am worried that I will lose that 2'x120' strip to the new owners? There was never any written agreement that I can find between the four. THANK YOU Please do not say call a lawyer cause I already know that.PS I have no intention of being a jerk or causing the new neighbors trouble, but I have calculated that land value at around $10,000 if you just divide it up.

Forgot to pay council tax before moving out from the property?
Hello I got in a little bit stupid situation. I forgot to pay council tax for two months and moved out in the middle of the second month. Later I was told I receive a letter saying that council is asking me to come to court or I have to pay for a year. I payed for two months but I think it is not enough to finish this. Will I have to pay for a full year? Or I can send them some sort of notice that I have moved out and pay only a fine for not paying council tax on time?Thank you for your answers.

Here's the situation. I'm dating this girl in Vegas yeah it's a long distance relationship . I've known her for 6 months but haven't met her outside. Well a few months ago she told me she had purchased a certain property in Vegas. I was suppose to go visit her multiple times since she supposedly bought this house but things just magically keeps getting in the way. So I'm getting suspicious about this girl.So I looked up her property on this website clarkcountynv.gov Depts assessor Pages RecordSearch.aspx And the information was basically not hers. I don't know if this girl is lying to me or what but here's the question...How accurate or dependable is the information you get on that website?

My mother is in the process of buying a new build semi. The other newbuild house next door has already sold, and I've just discovered it is available to rent. I haven't told my mother this yet, as I would rather discuss it with her in person when I visit her tomorrow.She has put an offer in on the house and it has been accepted. But is it a good idea to buy a house next to a rental property? I know that any house can become a rental, and it happens all the time.
