In what order does a child support lien get paid in a property sale?
My ex husband is in the State Penitentiary in North Dakota and his Mother is selling his house. I have contacted child support enforcement they created a " cloud" on the title of the house and I also had it recorder threw the county recorder. There is only $381.89 in escrow and the total amount owed on everything is 30,131.,57. The listing price of the house is 38,000 and is due to close on the 15th of this month. I have been told that my portion which is 7,850 will be paid first, but i have also been told that it will only be paid if there is anything money left. Then I read about the " homestead" which protects him against creditors. So any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Are profits from a property sale divided equally among joint tenants when only one is on the mortgage?
My sister and I are selling a home we both bought several years ago. At the time, we were both on the mortgage, but we later refinanced it in my name only she signed over the deed and then I put her back on after I secured financing to get a better interest rate. Now, we are trying to sell, and according to my genius sister the value of the home is to be divided in two parts BEFORE the mortgage is paid meaning I have to pay the balance due out of my half leaving me with virtually nothing while she gets to keep 50 % of the house's value Her logic is since she's not on the mortgage, she doesn't owe a thing. I told her the ban will pay itself first no matter what and then we divvy up the rest 50 50. Isn't this correct? Please advise. Does "3% in closing cost help" mean 3% of the property sale value?
Hello,A property I am looking at that is an approved short sale says the bank will provide 3 % in closing cost help. Is that 3 % of the sale price? Ex a $200,000 sale would mean $6k in help Or 3 % of the closing costs? Ex $10,000 closing costs, thus $300 in help

If I sell a property, 1.5 % plus vat of final price goes to the company, how much do the sales agents get? and Remax agents are self employed, so how does that work? . Grandmother A had a home as self acquired property in India and had the Will written to her grandson C. Her only son B took over as the legal heir in grandson's absence, converted the title to his name, and sold her property to a stranger Z. Do I need to pay tax on the capital gain on sale of internation property. The property was acquired and sold in a foreign country. The proceeds from the sale were wired in to the US. Do I need to pay any capital gains taxes on this property

Home Loan rules for property sale between blood relation?
I want to sale my current flat to my younger brother as i wish to buy new one near by my office.I am having Home loan on current flat and want to apply for fresh loan to purchase new flat. My Younger brother has good income through salary and eligible to purchase my flat by taking home loan against my property.We had approached one bank for My brothers loan and received sanction as well. Problem occures when bank rejected his application stating transaction between Blood relation is not acceptable.Request if any one has experienced similar case and advise if any bank accept such transaction and disburse amount to my current bank to clear my outstanding.
