Hi I am a student at university in London. I recently got married and now I have to move out of my parents property. My husband is also a student in same university. To be honest, I dont want to rent a room or anything in London as its very expensive and I think waste of money by giving it to landlords. Is there anyway we can get our own property and mortgage while rent out the rooms. Can anyone tell me any property loan lender who would agree on that, We both work part time. I have looked at bath building society however there condition is the property needs to be within 10miles of university and my university is Kingston. my husband is an international student . Please help me. Im very confused on what we should do.
How does a tenant of a foreclosed property buy an REO property?
Hi,I just found out recently that the condo I'm renting is now owned by the bank. The broker came by and I asked him for the market value of the property because I want to make an offer. A couple of days later he came back to me telling me that he can't do that... and that I would need to vacate the property first, have an appraiser come in and then he might sell the property to me.This seems counter intuitive to me... Why would the bank want to spend extra money when I'm already living in here and willing to purchase it? Somehow I feel like the broker is just up to something... I know for a fact that properties can be appraised by checking current market values of the other condo units in the complex. So is this broker just messing with me in regards to the whole appraisal thing? Can I talk to the bank or something?Thanks.

I entered into an agreement to buy a property in Calcutta. The agreement was made on Rs.10 non judicial stamp paper which was not registered. At present I am not willing to buy the same. What may happen if I refuse to buy? Apart from forfeiting the advance made by me can the seller compel me to buy the property legally? Only learned reply please.
Tenerife property - buying with non residents mortgage?
Im thinking about buying an apartment of one or two bedrooms in the south of Tenerife in the next few months.. I will need a mortgage from a Spainsh Bank to help finance this purchase..My question is what is the maximum amount of money in euros i can loan from a bank and over how many years will they give me to pay this loan off.. We are looking to sell our property, are the property buying companies that are always on TV etc all out to rip people off or are there any that would give us a decent price? Just wondering if its worth using one to save the hassle of selling and making it easy
