Renting....Do you have property agents from hell too?
HiWe have been renting this home for approx 9 months....When we moved in the agents knew that the oven had the rubber seal off the door and stated to us that this would be fixed immediatley...We are still waiting 9 months on Since the day we moved in there has been an abundance of mould growing on the walls so bad that every week on a sunday i have to wash the walls with mould killer, we are planning a family, i am so frightened that with all this mould that it will hurt all of us with breathing in the spores....I have complained about this to the real estate and they said that they would see if there is moisture in the roof..Our light bulbs keep exploding But nothing has happened.Our lease ran out 3 months ago and they said that they were not renewing our lease because the owners have the house on the market, now we are in a suspended lease, do we have any rights?Every week when i pay rent i complain to them, there are no other places in our range...yet We pay $250 a week Its a lovely home without the mouldAgents stated that if it sold the new owners might want tennants thats why we are still here Sorry to the first person that is $250 AU i live in Queensland Australia

Can i sue my landlord and his property agents?
I have been living in the same house for about 15 months and we recently just found out that the landlord and his estate agents have not been paying the mortgage and the bills. We got letters noting unpaid sums and warning notices, what can i do as a tenant if the landlord seems to be on the run. I have been paying all my rent to them. can i sue them. I don't know what the law is about this considering i am a foreigner in the united kingdom. Please can any one advise me. Can i get my money back.
Crap property agents....?
I moved into a new property two months ago and when I moved in there were a lot of plumbing problems with the house for example I havent been able to have shave without using a kettle for two months now, toilets not flushign properly and taps not working . Im paying above average rent for the room that I have and have received numerous reports of a plumber being arranged including 2 members of this household being given a confirmed date verbally which has passed and when questioned about it he denied ever giving a date, then saying that it isnt the agents responsibility, its the landlords even though he lives in Ghana Then there have been two more apparent dates of visits, neither of which have materialised.Im fully aware of the consequences of withholding my rental payment but it is something Im considering.Can anybody tell me who is really responsible for getting thte plumbers in? The agent or the landlord?Cheers
Why do property agents leave already-let properties on their websites? What use are they?
Surely they just waste space and bandwidth on their servers, and it's just as easy to remove an ad than it is to edit it to put the 'let agreed' notice up?

Can I not pay comission to property agent if I find house myself?I am from singapore & looking for a resale hdb flat for my 2nd time purchase. First time I bought directly from hdb. I found a few flats from website & newspaper but all are advertised by property agents. If I contact them to view & if I like the flat & want to buy it, do I have to pay commission to agent? Actually they are agents from seller side & do nothing in terms of searching house for me.
