I need a good house in St. Catharines? Any open houses for arround the $240,000 mark?
Pool and Garage is a must?

Local KFC is hosting a open house for employment..what should I wear and what should I expect?
I really want to get a job and this is a good opportunity. I have never heard of a open house at a work place before. What should I expect and what should I do wear to higher my chances and help me get this job. Thanks a lot.

Do we have to allow a realtor into our home to do an open house?
We signed a contract with her 3 days ago and the day after we signed we received an offer on our home and the deal feel through because she refused to give the buyer's agent the bigger commission. She knew we were upset and she offered to let us sign off the contract and said that we could just pay for an ad she ran in the newspaper. We sent her an e mail and told her we decided to take her up on her offer and just pay for the ad and sign off AND we told her that we would do the open house that she had planned to do. But now she is insisting that she do the open house because she says she has a " following" of people that go to her open houses and that she doesn't want us to tell people that we fired her. We assured her that we would not but she is still insisting on coming here to our home and says that she is still entitled to a commission if we sell our home. We are upset and stressed out about the deal falling through and we do not want her in our home. She told us to come to her office at 4 00 today to sign off. BUT DO WE HAVE TO ALLOW HER INTO OUR HOME TO DO THE OPEN HOUSE ?We are not hostile at all, she is She threatened us with getting an attorney and was very aggressive about doing the open house. We think she wanted to do the open house so she would feel more entitled to a commission because she has not really done anything for us. It's only been 3 days We also did not agree to let her do an open house after we made an appt with her to cancel the contract. We just wanted to sign off and be done with her. The main reason we want to sign off with her is because we fear that other agents will not bring their clients here because she is so problematic.

I fed some real-estate agents moldy finger sandwiches at a open house, should I feel guilty?
I work for a real estate company setting up show homes for other agents to view. This morning I used moldy sandwiches from a showing we had last week. I cut off the moldy bits and sprinkled them with salt to help mask the flavor. Nobody complained and we just got an offer on the property. Am I going to hell?

Is it appropriate to take young kids along to view a house (or open house)?
I have two young boys who will probably run around... , so I'd like to know if I can take them along during house hunting? Or is that inappropriate? Also, is there different etiquette between setting up an appointment, versus just walking into an open house are kids more acceptable in one situation over the other ?

Is it possible to hold two open houses at the same time?
I'm a licensed realtor, and I own two investment houses that I'm trying to sell. I would like to hold both of them open this Sunday if possible. Would I be legally allowed to have my brother not a licensed realtor be at one of the houses, since I obviously can't be in both places at the same time? The houses are only two blocks from each other. He can call me and I can come right over if needed.

Is it ok to be present during my own house's open house?

Does landlord have right to hold open house, show house while tenants still occupy unit?
This is in CA. Also, landlord said he'd let us continue with the lease another 9 months if it got sold. Is that really possible? can he show it when we're not home?

Cust srvc call center open house?
what can i expect? the ad says to do the online application & assesment beforehand. assuming i go there after passing the assesment meeting their qualifications, can i expect to be hired on the spot as long as i present myself well?

Who can go to an "open house"?
I'm just looking around at houses and condos, thinking to buy sometime in the future, and I also enjoy touring houses and looking at floor plans. Is it OK to go to an open house even if you probably aren't going to buy it? I always want to go to them, but I wonder if the real estate person will be annoyed or even tell me I can't come in. How ready to buy do you have to be before going to an open house? Thanks

Does putting a ad on craigslist about my open house will help to get people to come and see the house?

Sending a thank you letter to a job recruiter after an open house for the position...?
I'm trying to get into a new graduate RN program at a local hospital. The first part of the hire process is an open house and tour that I attended about a week ago. The next stage comes with a letter of invitation to a panel interview, which if one makes it past that step is followed by another panel interview. A friend of mine emailed a thank you letter to the Nurse Recruiter at the hospital after the open house the other day. I'm thinking about doing the same. I'm not sure though whether or not I should do so in a hand written note or on business stationary, typed. I thought a hand written thank you card that looks professional no butterflies or anything, just a simple " Thank you" on the front would be more personal.I haven't actually been interviewed for the position yet. It was just a group open house and tour that was given, which is why I hadn't sent the thank you letter out. Do you think it's too late? 7 days later? There are still open houses going on through tomorrow the last one is tomorrow ... there were three groups a day on 5 separate days.Any suggestions on what I should write if I didn't actually talk to the person who invited me directly I was just shown around by former RN resident students who went through the program last time, and was given a power point presentation answering questions by the director of the program .What would be proper etiquette? I'd like the card to seem genuine, rather than another in genuine and manipulative ploy to get invited to the next interview.Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you so much for any help.

Do I need to contact the estate agent before going to a open house inspection?
Or is it okay just to show up at the listed time?I've never been to an inspection before and don't want to be turned away.
