Do foreclosure listings ever take less than listed?
as in> if a house is listed for $214,900 would they be willing to accept a lower offer or is that the bottom line price?

I've been house shopping for a couple months now. I found a place and made an offer. At first they rejected it, but then changed their minds and accepted it. I have a signed contract to purchase the home, I've applied for a mortgage, I had the home inspected. There were two minor things found during the inspection that I wanted the sellers to fix before I signed off on the inspection and that has not happened yet.Today, while out driving I saw a for sale sign in front of a home that I have always admired and wished would go up for sale. The sign was NOT there when I began my search. I want to tour this place at least to satisfy my curiosity. I would kick myself if I didn't take the opportunity to look at it and see if I like it better than the place I'm in the process of buying. Should I contact my realtor? Are there etiquette rules for situations like this? Or is it too late to look at other places because I've already made a commitment somewhere else?I'm in NY. They accepted my offer on 3 14. I had the house inspected on 3 17.

What's the big deal about MLS listings?
A lot of people are saying I need to get my real estate license so that I can get access to the MLS listings. Could someone please tell me all the information on the listings that would be beneficial to a real estate investor? Also, once you get your license, do you have access to the listings? I'm trying to search foreclosed homes in Virginia, and Google just leads me to ad infested and questionable websites. And they all make me 'register' to be able to view pictures etc. Does anyone know a good online source? Thank you

Every site I try wants me to sign up for something like a trial. There must be sites that's don't require that.
Why do people post rental listings (apartments/housing) with NO image?
Are these ads usually reliable? I'd hate to go all the way to the place and it be not what I expected.
