What I need to do before purchase a land?
Hi friends I need some help , I am purchasing a land in Florida Collier county Naples city and is my first time, I went to see the land and there are houses around, I told the seller I am interested, he send to me the contract, which in the contract show the address of the property and a % to send the money to the title company, do I need to send the contract with that % to the title company and the title company will pay the owner of the Land? also how I know if the land owe any taxes or anything.Any recommendations in what I need to do in order to do not make mistake and loose money, step by step. It will help a lot friends, but do bot tell my please that I need a realtor or attorney, i do not really want to do that, I want to do it my self and learn, thanks a lot and I appreciate your help. I've worked at Abercrombie, a Ma and Pa's Diner and an Ice cream parlor..I'm 19 going to college and I REALLY want to be a server somewhere like Olive Garden or just any trending Restaurant in the middle of a college town. My wife and I moved out of a rental home earlier in the month. We were on a month to month lease and because of this were free to move out at any time. I've been working for minimum wage for a while so for me getting a new " job" is about as difficult as sleeping. I'm earning an MBA and just can't get a " real job" easily right now. My wife works in medical and had gotten a job offer making an excess pay above what she was making at another job, but we were bleeding money in gas. So we found a place to move. In addition to our land lord becoming very hostile to us they were also our neighbors when we told them we had to move as a financial decision. We gave them fair warning, but after we moved out we haven't heard anything about getting any of our security deposit back or a partial month's rent that they owed us. We had lost about 200 of a large security deposit at most, but if we lost it we would want communication about this as well, plus they even said they owed us some rent money. How long do they have to respond to communications or even tell us we lost the entire deposit? We only had a small floor stain by a door due to rain on moving day and some messed up paint about a $10 worth of paint fix if that. They also owed us money on an electric bill as well its inane I know .We did give them fair notice over 30 days as stated above. When I said we were free to move I meant that we weren't bound by the lease to move out after a total 1 year period.I'm fine if we aren't getting money back, its more that they haven't responded to communication. The floor thing was a foot print on top of the floor not damage. I had done my best to clean it before I turned in the keys, but was imperfect. The paint thing wouldn't require an entire room to be repainted, it was under a counter and barely visible. We just took pictures of everything and knew all damage to save our backsides so they couldn't just pin stuff on us without proof . We just didn't have time to paint over something that was less then a half inch by a 1 32 of an inch. It was tiny.

Neighbor's Driveway Cutting Through My Land?
A parcel of land behind my property was recently sold off in three lots. These lots have had houses built on them and have no road access which means that they will have to build driveways through my property. Do I as a landowner reserve any say in the course these driveways take across my property or a right to insist that it be a shared driveway? If three individual driveways are constructed then my land will be destroyed.I don't have a problem with them actually building a driveway as it is necessary but I would prefer if it were a shared driveway positioned on the edge of my property as I was planning on fencing off my land for livestock.
