Help with uk land registry and charging orders?????
I have recently been given a final charging order on a property by the county court. It's taken about 18 months to get to this stage. The problem i have is that i cannot find out which form i need from the land registry in order to register this charge. I have tried ringing the land regstry themselves but they will not help and the internet has me baffled as the guide i have to read is very complex. Please does anyone know what form i need. I would really appreciate it as you will never know how difficult these past months have been.

Question about land registry?
My partner is divorced and his house is in his sole name as his ex had very bad credit. 2 years ago he kicked her out and she went to a solicitor who advised her to have her name put on the land registry, which she did. My partner didn't sign any forms to say thats he could. Is this legal ??? He now can't sell the house without her permissionI have phoned land registry as because they are divorced, if he fills in a form that they told me to download off their website and send it to them with a copy of decree absolute it will be removed as they are no longer married so she has no spousal rightsResult

How do I get new house deeds? Inherited from my grandfather but not registered in land registry office?
I have recently inherited my grandfathers house, the mortgage is fully paid off. I am looking to sell the house but a distant family member had the deeds but cannot find them. The house is not registered in the land registry either. How do I get new deeds for the house? as the probate has gone through already and fully in my name. Any help would be so much appreciated. I live in the UK.

How can i get the land registry number of my house

Parents house not been registered with the land registry?
Hi Im hoping that there is somebody out there that can shed a little light on my situation and maybe point me in the right direction as I feel at the moment Im going round in circles. My father died in December last year and was the only named person on his and my mother his wifes home so we applied for probate to enable us to put my mothers name down as the home owner, my father left a will stating that she was to have the house. Unfortunately I have come accross a few problems along the way the land registry forms were send back as i had not supplied them with a title number, this is because I do not have a copy of the deeds to get the title number. Upon asking them if they could send me a copy they explained that the house had never been registered and the deeds would still be in holding with the mortgage lenders. My father had his mortgage with abbey national now Santander so I went to my local branch and asked them if they could help. They basically told me that I would have to write to a headoffice to attempt to get the deeds returned the strangest part was that when the property mortgage details came up on the computer it had my name and not my fathers?? we have the same first and second names but I have an added middle name. I do not know anything about this and my mother and other family members are also clueless, the house was bought before I was born. The bank were unable to tell me if it was a typing error or if the name is correct so now Im unsure as to what steps I need to take next. How do I find out if the house is in my name and if it is then is it just a matter of registering the house with land registry or do I need documents and to get a solicitior involved?? Hope somebody can help. was hoping to b able to do it myself as we don't really have the funds to pay for a solicitor, haven't yet buried my fathers ashes as we can't afford the cost of the plot etc so paying out money for a solicitor was something I was hoping to avoid if possible, obviouslly thought if it's the only way to get it resolved then it's gotta be done I guess.Right ok, thanks for that I understand some of it I think the mortage lenders and my father agreed to them safe keeping the deeds for no chargeI may be misunderstanding bt I dont think I can get any information fromthe 'schedule of title deeds' as its through the land registry and the house has never been registered with them

We have just purchased a property with details on the land registry that show we have 'the right to use...?
We have just purchased a property with details on the land registry results that show we have 'the right to use the area of land hatched black on the plan for the purpose of a turning space for private and trade vehicles to an extent reasonably consistant with the domestic user of the said house.' however, the local council have previously granted planning permission for a retirement development that will overlap this area. Where do we stand? Have we lost the right to use this area? or should the council have known about the turning space? Can you advise.

What powers does the land registry have with your house deeds?
