What is a good book for investing in foreclosures?
I'm a 20 year old student and have always been very driven to start my own business and invest in opportunity with the real estate bubble popping it seems like it is a good time to look for home investments. But being 20 I have 0 experience on foreclosure investing . My question is what are some good resources such as books, tapes, classes to grant me knowledge in doing this kind of thing. I want to start building my wealth now and just need some guidance in the right direction. Thanks All Happy Turkey Day Real Estate and Finance Concentrations for Business degree

How do I invest in foreclosures? I was snooping around the real estate classifies and saw some VERY good deals on houses. Are these good investments to buy and rent out? Are these good investments to buy then resell later? I'm talking about paying $10k or less for a house worth over $100k What's the catch?
Anyone know about investing in foreclosure properties in east Tennessee?
I live in Pigeon Forge, TN and I have been noticing a lot of advertisements about how much you can save buy buying a foreclosed home or property. I think this would be a good investment for me since I could possibly buy a cabin and rent it out for profit since the economy of the local area is almost solely dependent on tourism. I am not really sure how I would get started finding these so called " deals" . A vast majority of the information I am returning on goggle looks like scam websites. Anyone have any advice? Should I try to find a local real estate agent to help maybe?ThanksBrad
