Hi Everyone,I am getting married next year and we are going to be buying a house after the wedding. At some point we are also going to be needing a new car my car is giving us problems all the time . Should we buy the car before or after we buy the house? Im thinking we should buy the house while we are debt free and then later on buy the car. I would think that mortgage company want to see that we are debt free and dont have any loans that are being paid monthly when we apply.

Ok here's my story. My father tells me when he dies hes 81 w prostate cancer stage 3 , hes house and a rental house that he has, will be given to me. I will inherit them. The situation is, he lives in California. And I grew up with my grandparents in the state of NJ. All our lives lived in a tiny apartment. I'm Asian, my grandparents are asian, my american dad divorced my asian mom before I was born. I'm the only child. So that's my background. I really really want my family to live in a house in NJ. Once my dad dies, I will be living in his house in California cause I always love there. My family did not. Should I sell the rental to use that money to pay the mortgage or just keep it? He tells me he currently gets $1200 a month rental & bought that home when it was a forclosure so no mortgage there.I do work full time with a local company and currently saving my 20 % downpayment for my family's house to be in NJ. I do have good credit score. Should I sell the rental or keep it?
Which house to buy? We are torn!?
We are first time home buyers. This poll will probably not affect our decision, but we thought it would be fun to see what you guys vote for. The first house is slightly older, has a huge backyard, but there is a somewhat busy street 1 acre behind the house. This house is also surrounded my massive, new houses. The 2nd is an amazing, huge house, but has no yard. This house would be for me, my fiance, our future children, and 2 big dogs. I'm looking at house to buy but it has tenents in a lease for a further 12 months can I break the lease?
Appreny the realestate just signed the tenents up for another 12 months lease when the property is for sale, is there any way around breaking the lease so I could move in?

So today our landlord came to us saying that she was getting a divorce and would be moving back to the house we are staying in now, and we have to be out by august 1. I need some help finding rental homes around the Colona, Illinois area. zip code 61241. in the city of colona is preferred, but any in the quad cities close would be great. We are also looking at houses to buy, but we certainly can't buy a house within a month. I live with my parents and they have always rented homes, they have never bought or owned a house. I've been told they could qualify for first time home buyer deals or something that may help us. We aren't very wealthy, we pay about 800 a month for this house, my parents mostly my dad are skeptical about buying because they have bad credit due to my mom having used credit cards in the past and bringing on debt. Any suggestions on what to do about the house situation? anything that can help us get started with paying and selecting a good house?
We can't decide which house to buy?
We are down to two houses but cannot choose which one to buy. I can't even pick a clear favorite one day one is the favorite and the other is the next. What should we do? I am so stressed and don't want to make the wrong decision.
I can't decide which house to buy. Quality or Location or good layout?
I am considering two houses at the moment. One was built by orion homes and the other was built by local small builder.They are all 4 beds house but I don't know the qualities of the houses. Is there any way that I can find out this information? Also, the location for small builder's house is not as good as orion homes' but it is spacious and well designed. Layout or location? which one is more important? Can anyone give some suggestions for the above questions? Thanks.Thank you for everybody's opinion, I know that location is very important even the orion's location is great but small builder's is not that bad. Another problem is orion's is located in a quieter area, small builder's is located next to the main road, when I stayed inside small builder's house, it was a bit noisy and sloping ceiling dormer room in the attic is very low but the price is about 4 grand difference, hard to decide.. can anyone help?????
