Selling house real estate home please read on...?
I have a friend whom is selling his house. And he has an interested person to buy his home. The guy asked my friend if he pulled out the old floor and put this new floor or kept the old floor and put new floor over the old floor. My friend lied and said he took out the old floor and put new floor which was not true. The new floor is over old floor.Also, his house is not cable ready to watch cable tv. There are no cables in the walls. He doesnt want to mention this to the person.I dont agree with these two actions, but then again is he wrong. He said when people sell the house they dont always say 100 percent true. As long as home is sound and not falling down everything is fine. I mean the house is looking fine and great place to live but shouldnt you be honest 100 percent or am I being stupid.Thank youThank you. I agree 100 percent. His floor is fine it is on sleepers not ply wood and seems strong but still he should tell the truth. Thanks again.

Selling condo house real estate please read on?
If I am selling a condo to a buyer for 450,000 and they put down a down payment of 20 percent. Lets say they sign the contract for 450,000 and then get it appraised and the man says it is worth 400,000.My question is can she back out of the deal and get her deposit back? What is your crazy house real estate story?
We put a bid on a house... no one is getting back to us... the house is banked owned, the realtor for the house is nuts We think he listed the house wrong and it's really and auction... he had the wrong picture on the listing... the school and all the information is wrong. He can't remember who he talked to because my agent keeps calling him and he doesn't remember. He said yeah, it s a listing and then later said I put our bid in but it will take 3 weeks?? Which is the " auction" date he said, and we keep saying NO, it's a listing. He won t return her calls and then has called her by mistake. My agent called his boss because she couldn't stand it anymore and his boss told him and the guy called her screaming My agent said we just have to laugh she thinks that because the guy is insane and all the information is wrong that no one even knows this house exist so we will be the only offer She is going to call his boss again today and tell him we need to know what s going on because this is insane.Anyone else have any strange realtor stories? I need a laugh.Guy is an older man, we don't know if he is losing his marbles or he is just cluess with too many properties.

Hi my buyer changed the contractShe is now putting down only 5 percent due to other family members bailing on her for the cash. She is going to refinance her home which is worth alot and get a mortgage of 80 20She is a dentist and her husband is a dentist. The contract says she has 45 days to get a mortgage. Do you see any trouble in her getting one? I mean my apartment is worth like 450,000 and her apartment is worth like 700,000.It is such a bad market and alot of people interested in my apartment has decided to hold off buying so I will sign due to dont think going to have a buyer for the price anytime soon.WHAT DO YOU THINK????

My question is how low can real estate in brooklyn, ny go down. I mean rent is for two bedroom in nice building is minium like 1400 and even higher and the statistics show that there are not too many vacant rentals in brooklyn this causes the landlord to put a high price on his rentals. Plus every year rent goes up and never down.Everyone is speaking about crashes in real estate but isnt this more for areas that they have lots of vacants for rentals like florida or miami or las vegas where they built too much and dont have enough people for all that construction now?Your opinions please?
