Damage to for sale house?
I put my house for sale, before I sign the paper to let the realtor sell my house, I asked her who is responsible if something damage to my house. I don't like her put a lock box outside treat my house like a foreclose property . She said she can track who gets in my house. Now there is damage to my garage door cables and the some wheels came out. I had to pay for it. The last guy went in my house was the home inspection guy and he denied fault. He said something was already wrong with the door already. I know the garage door was in good working order Now the realtor says her company is not responsible for any damage to my house. But when I gave her my house keys to let her sell the house, she didn't say that. Who should pay for the damage?

I was thinking of taking a job in Japan but I haven t really been able to find any properties outside of the cities. My job would be in the Tokyo area but I would never live in the city, because I like rural settings so much. I haven t contacted a Realtor yet because I am not sure if I want to do this, I just want to get a rough estimate of how much houses over there cost.
