How to find a real estate agent when purchasing a low priced home?
Me and my husband are looking for a house 3 4 hours away from where we live now. We need help from a real estate agent to find a good one, I have done tons are searching online but have not gone in person yet. The thing is that we are looking for something in the $60,000 $85,000 range since we are first time buyers. The last agent I spoke with sent me a bunch of listing for $160,000 homes, which we could never get approved for. Is there something I should be looking for in an agent when dealing with such a low price point? Should we just do our own searching and use the seller's agent?
