Which real estate agencies are the best for buying condos?
I am looking to find out if any of you have had better experiences with one real estate agency vs. another doesn't have to just be with condos. It would help me out a lot if you could be specific. No Brokers Please Thanks

How do estate agencies pay their staff?
I'm working for a small estate agency working 9 6pm sometimes even later with viewings and I am on 10,000 basic 20 % commission, which with the number of properties we have is barely minimum wage.Let me give you an insight into my manager, he is a scrimper and saver. He tries to pocket as much money as possible even if it means trying to screw me over. For the referencing we do, we charge the tenants 30 per person and we are meant to send their details off to a referencing company but he tells us to call up the referees and reference them ourselves and he pockets 30 per tenant. He asks us to do the inventory ourselves and charges the landlord 150 which he pockets. He has also asked me to start up my own cleaning company if I like so that he can charge the landlord for cleaning and take a big cut of the cleaning job instead of paying professionals. Now I get 20 % commission on all the properties I let out and the company charges 5 % to the landlord. So say I've let out a property for 300 per week, the way they work out my commission is 300 x 52 weeks 15600 per year 15600 x 5 % 780 780 x 20 % 156 which is what I get on top of my basic.I've found out that my manager has been charging 6 % for all properties and 8 % on managed properties when he's been telling me we charge 5 % and 7 % respectively. This means I'm missing out on average 50 per property. Basically I want to find out if this is standard practice or should I confront my manager?

Is it a scam that so many real estate agencies are hiring?
it seems like so many of them are hiring and it's kind of suspicious to me. And when I send in my resume, they want an interview the very next day. Should I be kind of skeptical of this? because I am . I live in the Boston area.

Where can I get a list of real estate agencies in NYC?
A couple friends and I are doing major research to find different real estate firms. We only want the ones in NYC meaning the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and even Staten Island. Is there any website I can use that will direct me to just one big list of real estate places instead of getting individual search results? Thank you in advance for any input.

Are there any real estate agencies that deal with rent to own properties?
I have searched some organizations online and all they really want is for me to pay for credit reports through their " approved" credit reporting companies. I already have one of those and they will give me the same info that any of the rest of them will. So, is it possible to just find and agent and work out the details rather waste resources that I could use otherwise?

Why do real estate agencies list square footage of homes when selling them?
If it is the buyers responsibility to make sure square footage is correct, why even list it?Since the realtor can advertise lies and not be held accountable, why list it? If a house is listed as 3000sq ft with 3bd and 3 baths and is really only 2500sq ft with 2bd and 2 baths why can the realtor lie. If the buyer must double check the listing, then why list anything but the price of the house?

I want to sell a property in Majorca. do you know which estate agencies deal with overseas properties?

How is humanities or history used in the real estate agencies?

What real estate agencies are most reliable in new york city?

Small removal business.I want to make a offer to my local real estate agency to broaden my clientele.any sug?
With a office and removal business I thought it would be perfect to work with the local real estate agencies as they have more information on people buying and selling hence they have to move than anyone else.My problem is how do I convince them to offer my service to their clients.Maybe if a agent suggests me to one of their clients and they were to use me,the agent might get a percentage commission on the total amount the move cost?? Any advice suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Do you earn more money in Sales or Lettings (estate agency)?
I got offered a job by two estate agencies. One is for sales and the other agency is for lettings. Im having a hard time choosing. They are on the same high street east dulwich so they roughly cover the same areas. This is my first time working in this industry and I wanted peoples advice on what area of estate agency earns the most money and has the better career prospects. Also in what position am I likely to earn the most money with hard work of course in my first year? When you give an answer can you say why you think this please? ThanksCan I just point out that they both offer the same basic, so its just a question of what sector I will earn more money with commission.
