You must verify the title if it is fake or not. you must secure if the place is safe and if their have home that was built check it if it is still strong for quakes. and check if there have some ghost XD

First thing you should know is if the land owner really owns the property and if the documents he have in his hand are true and legal to avoid any problems. And then the place itself, if it is really a good place for you and your family to stay then go buy it. and if You are also after to the style of the house, there is one good website that will teach you a really to choose a good type of place to live in.
